Shortly after I was appointed as National Statistician in 2014, we launched the ‘Better Statistics, Better Decisions’ strategy. In it, I wrote that I expected our work to be radically different by 2020, and outlined how I thought we could work together to deliver high quality statistics, analysis and advice to help Britain make better decisions.
This week, we have published an update of progress against this strategy three years after its launch. It also details what we will look to achieve, with your help, in the next two years.
Please take the time to read and digest this, and let me know what you think.
