Exciting Analyst roles with the Government Actuary’s Department

The Government Actuary’s Department (GAD) currently has up to 8 permanent and secondment (12 months) opportunities available for Analysts.

At GAD we work as actuaries and advisers for the UK public sector. One of our key visions is to be widely recognised for our development of analytical, actuarial and business skills and we are looking to recruit Analysts who will play an important role in achieving this. This is a great opportunity to add to your existing portfolio of skills and widen your experience across government.

As an Analyst (B2) you will be working as a part of a team with both actuaries and non-actuaries to support the delivery of advice across a broad and exciting range of areas. These include pension scheme valuations and benefit design, investment strategy, government policy, social Insurance, long-term care, health, risk and Insurance.

Salary: EO range £25,494 – £31,895 p/a – HEO range £33,820 – £41,416 p/a
