Are you interested in Data Science e-learning such as R or Python, if so, why not try DataCamp? Here at the Learning Academy we offer modern, online training through several sites. DataCamp comes highly recommended with over 98% of our users saying they would recommend this to their colleagues.
What is DataCamp?
DataCamp is an online learning environment for R and Python. It takes you from complete beginner through to data visualisation, machine learning, forecasting, and beyond. All the learning takes place through your web browser, so there is no need to have extra software installed. There are currently over 100 different courses available, with many of these arranged into clear learning tracks so you can take charge of your progression.
You can try it yourself for free by going to www.datacamp.com, where you can complete introduction courses in R and Python, or the first chapter in any premium course.
How can I apply?
Please try the free courses before applying for the premium version, so that you can make the best use of this resource.
All you need to do is contact us and we’ll let you know as soon as we have a space available. Please let us know of any additional learning needs, for example, if you need extra time due to a disability, working part time, etc. All information will be treated as confidential.
How does the course work?
One week before your “seat” is available you will receive an email so you can prepare.
You will need to put the time in your calendar to dedicate to learning, complete the free DataCamp modules before your “premium seat” begins, and decide which modules your want to complete.
When your “premium seat” starts you will get premium access for a minimum of 3 weeks to complete as much learning as you can. If you do not access your seat within the first week it will be withdrawn.
Don’t worry if you don’t finish everything though, you can re-apply as many times as you like.

DataCamp is free for you to use, Learning Academy have paid for you.
You have access for three weeks, but you can reapply as many times as you like.
The waiting list is usually around three to four weeks.
