The aim of this tool is to help you explore, in one convenient location, published statistics relating to offences involving knives or sharp instruments produced by public bodies in England and Wales.

All statistics included are official statistics, and usually adhere to the Code of Practice for Statistics.

You can filter the results based on your search criteria. Available filters include, organisation, data source, geographic coverage, geographic breakdown, frequency of release, dates the time-series covers and key breakdowns.

Please note that the filters and keywords relate to content that specifically relates to offences involving a knife or sharp instrument. There may be other breakdowns available for other crime types within the links.

If you want to let us know of any missing official statistics, please contact us using the crimestatistics@ons.gov.uk mailbox.
