The Department for Exiting the EU was established by the Prime Minister in July 2016 after the UK voted to leave the EU. We’re a small, exhilarating department focused on policy development and delivery.

The Analysis & Insight (A&I) directorate sits at the centre of DExEU’s high profile work, putting evidence at the heart of EU Exit policy making and negotiations across Whitehall. Our unique position allows us to play a critical role in bringing the right evidence together and coordinating this across Government.

This event will showcase some of the analytical work that DExEU has led on over the last few months, including the impressive cross-government coordination of efforts in the ‘Long-term Economic Analysis’ White Paper published in the autumn, and will provide a unique opportunity to find out more directly from the analysts involved. It will also cover some of the exciting analytical challenges that are coming up in the next phase of EU Exit negotiations and DExEU’s crucial role in coordinating vital analysis from across Government.
