Civil Service Learning have produced a series of tools to help staff to discover their strengths and areas for development.
The self-assessment tool
The self-assessment tool is described as a simple way to kick-start your development by completing an online assessment to identify your strengths and areas for development.
360 feedback tools
The 360 feedback tools use feedback from your manager, people who report to you and your peers to discover your strengths and areas for development.
They are available by grade:
- Feedback tool for Administrative Assistant and Administrative Officer
- Feedback tool for Executive Officer (equivalent to Statistical Officer and Trainee Data Scientist)
- Feedback tool for Higher Executive Officer and Senior Executive Officer (equivalent to Higher Statistical Officer, Junior Data Scientist and Senior Statistical Officer, Data Scientist)
- Feedback tool for Grade 6 and 7 (equivalent to Principal Statistician, Senior Data Scientist and Principal Data Scientist)
Leadership statement 360 feedback tool
The leadership statement 360 feedback tool allows you to request feedback on your performance and behaviours from those you work with. Feedback can then be compared with your self-assessment.
This tool is based on the Civil Service Leadership Statement and gathers feedback under the 4 headings of: inspiring, confident, empowering and delivery.
This tool is available by grade:
- Leadership feedback tool for Higher Executive Officer and Senior Executive Officer (equivalent to Higher Statistical Officer, Junior Data Scientist and Senior Statistical Officer, Data Scientist)
- Leadership feedback tool for Grade 6 and 7 (equivalent to Principal Statistician, Senior Data Scientist and Principal Data Scientist)
