Opportunity to join a Royal Statistical Society committee
Do you want to influence UK official statistics? The Royal Statistical Society (RSS) have a great development opportunity that will let you do just that.
The RSS have two vacancies on their official statistics section committee for 2019.
The current committee includes academics, members of the GSS and other statisticians. They arrange a programme of meetings on official statistics as well as contributing to the RSS annual conference. Their work also helps support the RSS’ National Statistics Advisory Group (where discussion of UK policy for official statistics takes place).

You can apply to be an ordinary committee member or an officer, but you do need to be an RSS Fellow, GradStat or CStat (including via corporate membership).
