Revamping the GSS website, work continues . . .
We are working hard to revamp the Government Statistical Service (GSS) website.
It is also here to help GSS staff looking for learning and development opportunities and careers advice. If you haven’t taken a look already please see our new searchable list of training courses and improved learning and development pages. The careers area is next on the list to be given the once over!
Finally, we want it to be somewhere GSS staff can find information, help and advice.
We have recently revamped the “About us” area of the website to improve the way staff can access information about:
- the governance of the GSS
- the champion networks that exist to improve government statistics
- the support available to GSS staff from the Best Practice and Impact division
- the GSS strategy
- high level contact details
- key terms used on the website and across the GSS
We are also aiming to improve how GSS staff can search and use statistical policies and guidance items – so keep an eye on the guidance area over the next couple of months.
Do you have something to share?
If you think you have something to share on the website, we welcome all sorts of different content. As long as you think members of the GSS would be interested in it, we’re willing to consider it! Just take a look at our new instructions on requesting to upload content on the website.
We welcome feedback!
If you have any feedback or ideas please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
