In your role as Inventory and Forecast Systems Officer you will report to the Forecasting and Analysis team manager where you will be part of the team that supports and develops the Production Forecast system and is responsible for delivering the National Forestry Inventory analysis and reporting schedule.

The National Forestry Inventory programme has a busy schedule of Production Forecast analyses and reports based on the National Forestry Inventory and the Forestry Commission land inventory which the team are responsible for preparing and publishing.

The role encompasses a wide range of analytical and technical activities and you will take part in a variety of work, providing an opportunity for acquiring new skills and developing your career.
