The Regional Delivery Directorate (RDD) is the delivery arm for the Department for Education. Its goal is to provide brilliant operational delivery for school transformation, including delivery of the Academies and Free Schools programmes.

The RDD Data and Analysis Unit is a 25 strong multi-site and multi-disciplinary team of analysts. The unit provides professional operational analytical support to colleagues with regional and national delivery responsibilities, including the eight Regional Schools Commissioners (RSC). To deliver analytical support effectively to each RSC team, the unit is split into geographic data hubs, allowing tailored support to be provided for RSC teams to meet their needs.

This role is for the team leader of two data hubs, providing leadership and oversight for the analytical service for the following teams:

  • North of England
  • Lancashire and West Yorkshire
  • East Midlands and Humber
  • West Midlands
  • South West

This new role offers the post holder the exciting opportunity to oversee a new, joined-up and collaborative approach to regional data analysis, involving building new working relationships with delivery colleagues as well as leading in developing innovative data-led solutions to delivery challenges.
