Adult social care can be defined as the provision of social work, personal care, protection or social support services to adults in need or at risk. A broad range of adults with needs arising from illness, disability, old age or poverty use social care.
This tool compiles official statistics relating to adult social care across the four nations: England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales into one location. Please note adult social care is a devolved policy area.
The landscape is updated each month with new publications from the previous month. Datasets published for customers on an ad-hoc basis are not included in this tool.
If you believe that any of the information is incorrect, or if you feel we have missed an important release that should be included, please contact us.
